Look what Billy did - he went and made his OWN costume for halloween!
can you guess what he is? if you guessed 'frog' you were right! he's very proud of himself. he even sewed it up tight all by himself. (you can tell by the uneven stitches! [and the way he can't move his neck.]) do you like his feet? those spats were his friend Johnny's idea.
Billy is a marionnette, and he's 23" tall.
His cross bar is made of sanded pine, which has been glued and nailed for stability. His body, head, and neck are made of painted styrofoam balls of varying sizes. 4", 3", and 2.5", respectively. He's strung on clear monofilament, which is strong and stable, so he can take a beating. He has a green feather boa as legs, and felt for a costume. He's got googly eyes to complete his frog costume. True to frog anatomy, he has no tail.
due to the nature of marionnettes, we here at The Foundry don't reccommend use by very young children.
