cargo(h) pants?

well, not really, but we're certainly trying for the joke, aren't we? (really trying.)

so here's the thing::

we decided to try out the site cargoh.com. so we set up a store. we haven't put anything in there yet, but hey, why not give it a go, right?

so, here's the site::

long name, but we'll probably be calling it 'Cargo(h) Pants' from now on, since that's the title of this post. if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out, but we're really hoping it will, since their plushie section is currently chock full of the 'made-of-big-squares-of-fabric' variety. while that style is popular now, and it can be really cute, we here at the foundry (rather obviously) feel that there needs to be more than just squares and rectangles represented in that category. ^.-

of dinosaurs and disappearances

so, in case you haven't noticed (you probably have), posts have been slow here as of late.
this is mostly because yobo is going to school this summer, and she's got a paper due wednesday that she hasn't started yet. in her defense, she only got the req.s 2 days ago.

the dinosaurs, on the other hand, are much more interesting to write about.

there's only 2 so far, but they're really cute. see?

the teal one is ralph, and the purple one is florence.

they'll be in the shop soon, along with (hopefully) a polar bear or four, if i can manage them!

and 1 last thing -
we've applied to the Craftin' Outlaws show, here in Columbus, and hopefully, we'll get in! :D wish us luck!

Here at the Foundry, we forge toys of every variety, from squids to kaleidoscopes to marionettes, out of the highest quality materials around.
   They're handmade with sturdy thread and then stuffed with plastic beans or polyfill, depending on our fancy.
   Each of our plushies - animal, vegetable, or mineral - comes with a birth certificate telling who made it.
   If you'd like several of one kind, or perhaps something specific to your desires, please contact us, we do so love custom orders (especially weird ones)!
